Privacy Policy
- No ads, no analytics, no tracking, and we don't sell data. The only cookies are the ones that keep you logged in.
- Your Dices nick and game results are public.
- Only Dices asks for an email address, it's optional, and it's only used to reset a forgotten password.
- You can delete your account yourself: in Dices in Settings, in Score Master on the Account page.
1. Scope and contact
This policy covers:
- the portal at test-games.com,
- Dices — the game at test-games.com/dices and its Android app,
- Score Master at test-games.com/score-master.
Contact: brocz.testgames@gmail.com.
2. Dices
What we store and why
- Nick. You choose it when you first create or join a table, or when you register. It appears in the lobby, at the table, in the scoreboard, in statistics, in game histories and in season results, where anyone visiting the site can see it. It can't be changed later, so pick one that doesn't reveal who you are.
- Game data. We process your moves to run the game. Your results go into your statistics, your game history (your last 30 games, with the nicks and results of everyone at those tables), your Rank and your season results, including medals. All of this is public, and so are the skins you wear. We also store the skins you own and skin gifts between players.
- Emoji you send at a table are shown to the players there and are not stored.
- Account (optional). If you register, we store your password only as a bcrypt hash, which nobody can read. Without registration your nick is tied to the session on your device: if you clear your browser data or uninstall the app, you lose access to it.
- Recovery email (optional). We use it only to send you a password reset link. Other players never see it, and we don't send newsletters or marketing.
- Session. When you first play or log in, the server creates a session and stores, together with the time, your IP address, your browser's user agent (which browser and device you use) and its preferred languages. We use them to protect the game from abuse and to investigate technical problems, and we erase them 90 days after the session started. The session itself, which keeps you logged in, stays.
What is stored on your device
- Cookie
sessionTokenkeeps you logged in. It is valid for one year, can't be read by scripts and is sent only to test-games.com/dices. localStoragekeydices-settingsholds your sound, emoji bar and tutorial settings.sessionStorageholds a technical flag used when the page reloads itself after we release a new version.- The Android app keeps the same session token and settings in its own storage.
All of this is strictly necessary for the game you asked for, so the law doesn't require your consent and there is no cookie banner. The Android app only uses the internet connection. It doesn't access your contacts, location, camera, microphone or files.
Deleting your account
Open Settings → Delete account, in the app or on the web. Registered players confirm with their password. If you're seated at a table whose game hasn't finished, leave it first. Deletion takes effect immediately:
- your email address, password hash, sessions and notifications are deleted, your skin gift offers are withdrawn and your skins go back to the pool;
- your nick is replaced everywhere, including other players' game histories, with a random placeholder
such as
~k3x9q; - the numbers stay under the placeholder (statistics, game history, Rank, medals), so other players' results and places don't change. Nobody can log in as the placeholder, and it no longer qualifies for the running season;
- an unregistered player who never chose a nick is deleted completely.
Copies in server logs disappear as the logs expire (see section 8). A step-by-step guide is at test-games.com/dices/help-account.
3. Score Master
What we store and why
- Account. Your nick and your password, stored only as a bcrypt hash. Score Master doesn't ask for an email address, so we can't reset a forgotten password.
- Tournaments. Tournament, player and game names and the scores. Player names are whatever the owner types in, so they can be names of other people. Nothing in Score Master is public: a tournament is visible only to its owner and to the users the owner shares it with by nick, who can also edit it.
- Local mode. A tournament you keep as Local Only is stored in your browser or in the app on your device, and it reaches our server only when you choose Persist.
- Session. After you register or log in, the cookie
connect.sidkeeps you logged in. It can't be read by scripts. The server keeps the session with your user number and nick until you log out, or until a year has passed since your last visit. Score Master doesn't store your IP address.
If your name appears in someone else's tournament and you want it removed, ask the owner or write to us.
Deleting your account
Tap your nick at the top right of the tournament list to open the Account page (test-games.com/score-master/account), choose Delete account and confirm with your password. We delete your account, your sessions on all devices and all your tournaments, including the ones you shared with others. Tournaments that other users share with you stay with them, and tournaments kept on your device stay there.
4. The portal
The portal page uses no cookies and no scripts. Like every request to test-games.com, a visit is recorded in the server access log (section 5).
5. Server logs
Every request to test-games.com passes through our web servers, which record your IP address, the time, the requested address, the response status and your browser's user agent. These access logs are kept for 14 days.
The Dices game server logs game actions under your internal player number. Some lines also contain your nick, your email address (when we send you an email) or your IP address (when a request is blocked by a rate limit). These application logs are kept for about 5 days.
The Score Master server logs every change: your nick, the requested address and the data sent, for example tournament, player and game names and scores. Passwords are masked. These logs are also kept for about 5 days.
We use logs to keep the service running and secure and to investigate errors and abuse. Automatic monitoring may also email the operator a short report that can include the nicks of players at a stuck table, or the IP addresses an unusual number of new players came from.
6. Legal basis
- Contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)): running the games and your accounts — in Dices your nick, game data, public results, sessions, password, recovery email and password reset emails; in Score Master your account, tournaments and sessions.
- Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)): security and troubleshooting (logs, the IP address and user agent in Dices sessions, rate limits); keeping anonymized results after a Dices account is deleted, so that other players' histories and season places stay correct; and storing the names that Score Master owners type into their tournaments, so they can keep score of their games. You can object (section 9).
We don't rely on consent for anything, and we don't make decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects. Your Rank is calculated automatically from your results, but it only sets your place in the scoreboard.
Apart from a nick you don't have to give us anything to play. Without an email address you can't reset a forgotten password.
7. Who else processes your data
- WEDOS Internet, a.s. (Czech Republic) hosts our server.
- Google delivers the emails we send (Gmail). Google may process them outside the EU; Google LLC is certified under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework. A copy of every email we send stays in our mailbox; we delete these copies within 3 months.
- Other players and visitors see your public Dices data: nick, results, statistics, game history and season results. In Score Master, only the users a tournament is shared with see it.
We don't sell data or share it for advertising. We disclose it to public authorities only when the law requires it.
8. How long we keep data
| Data | Kept |
|---|---|
| Dices account, nick, statistics, Rank, season results | until you delete your account |
| Dices game history | your last 30 games |
| IP address, user agent and languages in a Dices session | 90 days |

| Access logs | 14 days |
| Application logs | about 5 days |
| Copies of emails we sent | up to 3 months |
9. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict its processing, to object to processing based on legitimate interests and to receive your data in a portable format. Write to brocz.testgames@gmail.com and we'll reply within one month.
We may ask you to prove that an account is yours. An unregistered Dices player can only be recognized by the session on their device, so please use Settings → Delete account on that device. Nicks can't be changed in either game; to get rid of one, delete the account. Registered Dices players can change or remove their recovery email in Settings.
You can also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: in the Czech Republic it is the Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů (Office for Personal Data Protection), Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Praha 7, uoou.gov.cz. You can also turn to the authority in the EU country where you live.
10. Security
All traffic is encrypted (HTTPS). Passwords are stored only as hashes, session cookies can't be read by scripts, and the server is protected by a firewall and request rate limits.
11. Changes
We'll publish any change to this policy on this page and update the date at the top.
